The Fire Company responds to calls in the borough as well as mutual aid requests to neighboring muncipalities in the surrounding communities in the South Hills and Mon Valley, responding to 600-700 calls annually.  

 

The Fire Company operates from one station, located at 72 Clairton Boulevard (Route 51), with two engines, one rescue, one aerial truck, two support vehicles, and one trench rescue and collapse truck.  

The Pleasant Hills Volunteer Fire Company provides fire and rescue services to the Borough of Pleasant Hills.  The Borough of Pleasant Hills is approximately 2.7 square miles, consisting mostly of residential and commercial properties, and has over 8,000 residents and is located several miles outside the City of Pittsburgh.  

 

When not responding to emergency calls, the Fire Company is constantly training as well as being involved in community service programs throughout the year.
